Beginning at Art Basel Miami 2006 Urban Studio worked with balloon artist Jason Hackenwerth getting into his sculptures and doing semi-choreographed public performances. Hackenwerth was a part of the Flow Art Fair at the Catalina Hotel. Members of our group suited up and not only wore his sculptures at the event but took it to the streets.

In April 2007 Urban Studio signed on to Coachella Music and Art Festival in Indio, California again with Hackenwerth, who was sponsored to attend and show at this renowned festival. Over a 3 day period select group members wore his sculptures for onstage performances and in the crowd.

In May 2007 Urban Studio participated once more with Hackenwerth at Socrates Sculpture Park in Long Island City, NY.
